Leather products
All Instroke leather products are made of excellent high quality leather. When treating our leather (embossing, coloring, etc.) we take special care to maintain all natural characteristics of our leather.
In order to make your leather product as long lasting as possible, you should clean its surface regularly. Suitable cleaning products can be obtained with your local dealer.
Cleaning smooth leather surfaces may be done using a very old household recipe. Amazing results can be achieved by using the following methods:
Method 1:
Gently rub a smooth leather surface with the inside (the white side) of an orange peel.
Method 2:
In order to freshen up a smooth leather surface of a light color, mix one part ammonium chloride spirit with six parts water and rub leather surface with this mixture.
Important remark:
All our advice and recipes are just old household remedies that may not have the planned effect on your leather product. All sorts of treatment should be tried in advance, using a piece of spare leather (generally fixed to your product) or in a place that is hidden from view on the product you whish to treat. Please plan enough time for the treatment to show effects, in order to be able to determine differences on the leather surface. Please view the following internet site for more detailed instructions for care and maintenance www.leather-care-cleaning.co.uk or contact our service at service@strokesports.com.
Care and maintenance of cues
In order to protect your high quality equipment from every day wear and tear, we advise you to use a Stroke Sports cue case for transport and storage. This cue case offers individual tubes for butts and shafts and is produced by the specialist workshop "Instroke Europe". Please note that your cue is made of wood, synthetic material or metal and therefore has various characteristics at once. Changes in temperature or humidity can strongly influence the quality of your equipment or can even destroy it. So-called cheap soft cases only offer inadequate protection. A cue ?hard case? offers better protection, but it is more easily damaged by mechanical causes (being dropped on the floor, for example).
Advice:
You should not leave your cue in a car, neither during the hot summer season, nor during very cold days in winter. Storage close to heating facilities should also be avoided.
In our shop you will find numerous products for care and maintenance of your cue, in order to make it as long lasting as possible.
